Starting a New Instagram for Moonrock

I decided to start a new Instagram for Moonrock Media and Commerce LLC. I’ve had this vision for probably three years of what I want my social media to look like. I want a place where I can document how much I’m doing, how the business is growing, and how different ventures or side hustles are performing. I want to be able to look back and see the progress over time.

My personal Instagram was originally supposed to be that page. For a long time, the only people following it were my closest friends and my wife. Then, for whatever reason, other people I knew started finding it, and now I have a bunch of coworkers following it. I’m not really a fan of that. I still have the account, but I don’t necessarily want everybody I know watching everything I’m doing, especially when I’m trying to build something and figure things out as I go.

So I created a separate account for Moonrock that isn’t really tied to my other accounts. The idea is to use it for the updates I originally wanted to post on my personal page, without having it connected to my personal life. I don’t know exactly how I’m going to grow it yet, and I don’t have the whole thing figured out. Right now, I just know that I want to document the growth.

I’m not really trying to sell anybody anything through it. I’ll probably post updates about the business, things I’m working on, how I make money, different finds, and maybe some tips based on what I’m actually doing. I also want to incorporate some news so the page has something relevant to post beyond just my own updates. I’m still figuring out what that will look like.

For now, the account is created, I already have the logo, and I have a general idea of what I want it to become. I still have a lot to set up, but at least I finally started it. Now I can build it from there.
