The work week is finally over, and honestly, I needed this Friday to come.
It was a productive week despite how heavy it felt. My manager and I finally got to the bottom of a billing issue we have been dealing with for a while. That one felt good to close out. I also finished redoing some quarterly logs that had to be redone because my staff messed them up. Not the most exciting work, but it needed to get done and it’s done.
The biggest win this week was getting approved by upper management to work on using AI to speed up one of our review processes and improve its accuracy. I’m excited about this one. It’s the kind of project that actually moves the needle, and it aligns with everything I’ve been working on with AI on the business side. More on that as it develops.
Overall though, I’m tired. There is still so much to do and next week can’t come fast enough. I’m hoping things return to normal and I’ll actually have time to tackle some of the projects that have been sitting. I still haven’t made my monthly update video. That has to get started. It keeps getting pushed and I can’t keep letting it slide.
