Last night I barely got any sleep. I stayed up all night trying to plan out this week because there is a lot going on right now. Between moving, managing repairs, and preparing multiple properties, it feels like my entire schedule is packed from sunrise to sunset. The condo we are currently in needs to be cleaned, repaired, and listed for rent as soon as possible. At the same time, the Apopka rental still has ongoing work that needs to be finished, and now the house we are moving into, which used to be a rental, is being turned into our primary home. That means my wife, son, and I will be living there for the next few years, so we want to make sure it is comfortable and ready before we settle in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because of how much is happening all at once, I wanted to make sure I had a solid plan in place. I decided to take most of the workload on myself instead of relying too much on my wife. Between taking care of the baby, her own schedule, and all the small things that come with moving, she already has her hands full. I spent the entire night mapping out each day, breaking down what needed to be done first, what materials I would need, and what houses I would have to visit. I only managed to plan until Wednesday because there is simply too much going on beyond that, but even having a partial plan helped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite being up all night, I still made it to work on time. The day felt long, but I stayed focused knowing everything I wanted to accomplish after work. Once I clocked out, I went straight to the house. Thankfully, I had already loaded up the car the night before, which saved me some time and energy. When I got there, I unloaded everything and took all the measurements I needed for upcoming projects such as room dimensions, bathroom spacing, and areas that need to be painted or replaced. It felt good to finally see some progress in person instead of just planning everything out on paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After finishing up at the house, I drove over to my mom\u2019s place to grab her van so I could make a run to Home Depot. I picked up two new toilets along with other supplies I will need for both the Apopka property and the house we are moving into. Even though it was a long and exhausting day, it was productive. I actually got ahead of schedule and was able to check off some tasks I originally planned for later in the week. If the rest of the week goes this well, I will be in great shape. Right now, it feels like I am juggling a dozen things at once, but I know this kind of grind is what will move everything forward.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
