I haven’t posted since the beginning of the year but I think today was a good day.
Currently, things are still iffy at work. There are a lot of changes happening and I’m not sure what the future holds. My manager is leaving and I need more money. Now that I have a child on the way, I can’t afford to be slacking or to delay the ask any longer. If things don’t go the way I want them to at the crematory, I’ll have to pivot to the funeral directors side of things.
Aside from all that, today was a good productive day. One of my tenants at the Apopka property is in the process of moving out. Today I found a potential candidate and met with him early in the morning after the gym.
There were a lot of technical issues at work, but we managed to get through the day. A lot of drama. Too much that’s not worth writing.
I accomplished most of my tasks though. I called the insurance agent after work so that I could get a quote on the Apopka property now that the court case has been closed. I really need to reduce the mortgage payments on that property, so here we go.
Lastly, I went shopping for some chocolates and flowers since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. As far as an efficient day is concerned, today was the epitome of what it should look like.
