Last week came with progress, setbacks, and a few reminders that business rarely moves in a straight line.
First, I was able to receive the car back from the mechanic. Unfortunately, it was still having issues, so I had to take it back again. Not ideal, but part of handling responsibilities. Problems do not disappear just because you are busy building something. You handle them and keep moving.
On the financial side, I initially got declined for the business credit card. Instead of leaving it there, I went into the branch and applied in person. I followed up today and was told it was approved and shipped on the 13th. That is officially handled. Small win, but a necessary one. Access to credit is leverage, and leverage matters when you are building.
As far as listings go, I did not get as many up as I wanted. However, I did get my listings up on eBay. Progress is progress. It may not have been the volume I aimed for, but the machine is still moving.
This week, the focus shifts to building more control. I am working on creating my own online shop so I can send repeat buyers from eBay directly there. eBay takes a significant percentage, and long term that adds up. The goal is to start funneling customers into my own ecosystem instead of always paying to rent space on someone else’s platform.
There are still details to figure out with the store setup, and that is a priority for this week along with increasing my listing output. The goal is to list 240 products on eBay. It is aggressive, but that is the point. Volume creates data. Data creates clarity. Clarity creates leverage.
One week at a time. One action at a time. Keep building.
