This past weekend felt like real progress. Not in a flashy way, but in the way that actually moves a business forward.
I decided to simplify my approach and focus on one meaningful action each day that pushes the business ahead. Everything else is secondary. The daily grind still happens when it can, but the priority is making sure something concrete gets done every single day, even if it is small. Consistency matters more than intensity right now.
On the execution side, I got my eBay store up to around 25 or 26 active listings. I listed ten items on Friday alone, including everything I picked up from Goodwill. Sales followed shortly after. Between eBay and Etsy, I sold around eight or nine items over the weekend, which is encouraging and confirms that the systems are starting to work when inventory is actually live.
I also made progress cleaning up my Etsy store performance. I am working my way back to a four-star rating. On some devices it already shows four stars, while others still show 3.8, but it is moving in the right direction. Behind the scenes, I caught up on bookkeeping, which removes a lot of mental friction and makes it easier to make clear decisions. I also reorganized parts of the garage and office, which might not generate revenue directly but definitely improves efficiency.
To expand reach, I opened a Mercari account and launched a second Etsy store where I plan to cross-list my eBay inventory. Both are live and functional, with one listing each to start. The goal is simple. More exposure for the same inventory without overcomplicating the process.
The only unresolved item right now is the vehicle. I still have not heard back from the mechanic, and I am hoping to have the car back by the end of this week at the latest. Once that is handled, it removes another bottleneck and makes sourcing and logistics easier.
Overall, this weekend was about momentum. Nothing dramatic. Just steady progress, cleaner systems, and putting myself in a position where showing up daily actually compounds.
