Today started early and rough since I had to be at work before the usual time. I barely slept, going to bed sometime after 11 p.m. and waking up at 3 a.m. The silver lining was that I was able to leave work early, which gave me some time to relax. I treated myself to sushi and a Starbucks coffee, something I definitely needed.
When I got home, I jumped straight into chores. I vacuumed and mopped the house, put the clean dishes away, and took out the trash. After that, I sat on the balcony and finished my coffee while logging all of my cash inflows and outflows for September. The numbers showed that I was over budget in some areas, especially eating out at restaurants, but the good news is that my inflows were much higher than expected.
I recorded four or five Amazon videos, though I did not upload them yet. I plan on getting those up tomorrow when I have a break. Business-wise, I did not make any sales today, but I received several product questions. It was only about five inquiries, but since each one required me to dig for details, it felt like much more. On the expense side, Microsoft charged me $130 for an Office 365 plan, which I canceled right away. I will wait until next month to purchase the one-time version instead. I have already spent too much this month, and with a week still left, I want to be careful.
The evening ended on a better note. I spent time playing with my son before his mom put him to bed. We also took a lot of his four-month photos today, and he looked great. Looking back, I would give today a B+. It had its challenges, but I still made progress and had meaningful family time.
