Yesterday’s Recap – Small Wins and Moving Forward

Yesterday was an okay day overall. Work kept me busy and eventful as I spent most of the time moving around and preparing for our upcoming inspection on Wednesday. It was one of those days where there was always something to figure out, but I managed to keep things on track.

On the business side, I went to the post office to drop off some products for customers and had a nice surprise afterward. Right after posting my blog on Sunday, I made a big sale on Etsy, and last night that same product sold again. It felt good to see momentum pick back up, especially after that negative review that dragged my shop rating down to 3.5. The review was unfair in my opinion, but I’ve accepted that you can’t please everyone. Some people will always find a reason to complain. My focus now is on earning more five-star reviews to lift the store back up.

Later in the evening, after my son went down for the night, I was able to list another item on eBay, pack the Etsy order, and update my monthly budget. I’m not finished with the budget yet, but I plan to wrap it up today. I also caught up on a few small tasks, like paying off some toll expenses. Before calling it a night, I read a few pages of a book my barista at work let me borrow. It wasn’t much, just five pages, but it’s a start. I want to build the habit of reading every day, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
