A Productive Family Day

Today was mostly a family day, and it was a good one. My wife and I took the baby to the farmers market to walk around for a bit, enjoy the fresh air by the lake, and grab some food at World of Beer. It felt good to slow down and spend some quality time together as a family.

I still managed to get a few business things done. I factory reset two laptops my stepdad gave me so I can list them on eBay. On top of that, I made three sales this weekend, which brings my total to 15. My goal is to hit 100 sales and $1,000 in revenue within the next 12 months so I can get eBay certified. That certification comes with a 10 percent discount on fees and better placement in the algorithm, which should help me grow faster. I’d like to hit that milestone as soon as possible.

I considered playing basketball tomorrow morning, but I’ve got a strained hamstring and quadricep in the same leg. I think I’ll hold off until at least Wednesday and see how my body feels after a light workout on Tuesday. Overall, today was slower than usual, but I still made progress. I even managed to clean my desk in the home office, which feels like a small but satisfying win.
